Petricore Movement is an artistic platform founded by Anna Holmström in 2015. Through collaborations with artists from around the world, we create experiences for people of all ages, with a focus on dance, music, costume design and visual arts.
With more than 15 years of experience we create high-quality cross-over projects that aim to inspire, challenge and evoke emotions. From large-scale theatre productions and exhibitions to short films and site-specific performances, our work opens up spaces where people of different ages, interests and cultural backgrounds can meet and exchange.
Through our work we reach approximately 4,000–5,000 people yearly through performances, workshops and cross-disciplinary projects. The work includes collaborations on local, national and international levels with artists, cultural organisations, schools and local initiatives.
An important part of our work is creating opportunities for professional dance and contemporary art to reach beyond traditional cultural spaces. Through workshops, community-based projects and collaborations with local initiatives, the platform supports local communities and creates opportunities for participation, exchange and new encounters.
Petricore Movement also contributes to the dance community by participating as judges and photographers at dance battles and events.
